BDU Retail Sales/Service Associate (BDU-RSSA) for LPK Technologies
Position Type: Part/Full Time Employee, 6-month term
Starting Date: July 15, 2015
Description: LPK Technologies seeks a disciplined, motivated Retail Sales & Service Associate for its Business Development Unit. We need a hard-working, LOYAL, self starter with a gift for sales and some computer/IT technical skills. Instead of waiting to be told WHAT to do, this is the kind of person that formulates a plan, and knocks the socks off his or her sales manager. At the very least, this is a person that can execute a plan that’s been put in place by the sales manager , so well that the manager can’t help but be impressed.
As a primary inside sales person with outside extensions, you will be the first one to “pick up that phone”, and ready to sell…
- Designing & creating solutions for individual and small business Clients
- Consulting with individual Clients about their daily computing needs (sales & service)
- Using the marketing materials and tools to help drive sales
- Screening and qualifying prospective Clients to determine how best we can help them
- Assisting in the generation of sales from existing LPK customers, book sales, service and maintenance operations
- Playing a key part in increasing the company’s software distribution goals
The Sales Associate may be required to use his/her skills in the following ways:
- Receiving and processing calls made by prospective business customers inside or outside the office as necessary
- Securing appointments to be attended by an LPK Sales Representative for the purposes of determining needs analysis or introductions
- Working with suppliers to fulfill and provide confident, competent IT solutions to Client problems
- Updating social media feeds as necessary for marketing the Company’s digital image and footprint
- Calling upon existing Clients for the purposes of scheduling maintenance follow-up visits
Requirements:
- Previous retail IT experience preferred, although not absolutely necessary
- Demonstrated ability to achieve pre-determined goals
- Demonstrated attention to metrics and reporting
- Knowledge of Microsoft software and operating platforms is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Open-mindedness and non-arrogance an absolute must
- Excellent written English and oral English communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Self starter and problem solver
- Attention to detail
